With a background in Mechanical Engineering, Andrew brings analytical thinking and complex problem solving to his patent and trademark prosecution and litigation practice. He gained valuable experience while pursuing his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering as a research assistant focusing on computational fluid dynamics and the study of combustion properties of solid fuel rockets. He also worked in patent research and competitive analysis for a major health and nutrition company. Drawing from these experiences, Andrew understands the importance of identifying and protecting intellectual property assets and the challenges companies face in bringing new technologies to market.

Andrew offers practical and strategic counsel on issues related to a wide variety of topics in the manufacturing and mechanical industry, and he provides his clients with patentability, freedom to operate, and infringement and validity opinions. In addition to patent drafting and prosecution, Andrew also offers counsel on contractual IP matters and assists with the development of litigation strategy and the preparation of written arguments and opinions.
